Un periodo de tiempo no es llamado "oscuro" porque la luz deje de brillar, sino porque la gente se niega a ver la luz. Detrás de la ira, hay pena, y detrás de la pena, hay amor. En estas acnciones, encontrarás palabras de odio, de pena y de amor. Dependerá de la cantidad de luz que estés perdiendo. Detrás de Silica Gel se encuentra Alberto Palazón, compositor de las canciones del grupo, productor y cantante de la banda. El grupo se fundó allá por el 2001, y a lo largo de 3 años produjeron las 3 maquetas que les llevarían a fichar por A Different Drum en el 2005, fecha en la que vió la luz Genesis, su primer disco,con los singles La Mitad y Nada es eterno. Posteriormente, en el 2008, vió la luz su segundo trabajo Exodo también bajo el sello americano de A Different Drum y cuyo single y vídeo Carpe Diem, autoprodujeron. Actualmente Alberto Palazón trabaja en solitario en la composición y grabación de lo que será su tercer trabajo y que verá la luz el 11 de septiembre de 2009 y podrá comprarse en Diskpol.

JAFI MARVEL

Jafi Marvel se mueve entre la electrónica de vanguardia y las melodías y sonidos del techno y dark pop de los 80, todo ello acompañado de guitarras crudas y fronterizas y letras pegadizas.

Jafi, zaragozano con una larga trayectoria musical a sus espaldas, acaba de debutar en solitario con la edición del CD homónimo: 'JAFi MARVEL'. Conocido por haber formado parte de bandas como Niños del Brasil o The Los Nervios, y de haber colaborado con artistas tan diversos como Morti (Skizoo) o Federico Aubele, este disco supone la materialización de un proyecto personal iniciado en 2005. A lo largo de estos años y gracias a la colaboración cada día más estrecha del guitarrista Luis Javier Velilla (Alice, D'Estrellitas Power, etc.), el proyecto actualmente se ha convertido en dúo y pasa a trío en el escenario con la incorporación de un teclista de refuerzo, Vicho (Zíclope and The Gods of Prostitution).
